We have a lot of fantastic events scheduled for 2010!
February 13: Join Cynthia Hardy this Saturday at Patriot Hall of Performing Arts in Sumter, at the Second Annual Millican Festival.
The main event of the festival, Amiri Baraka, a renowned national poet, playwright, and activist as the keynote speaker. It will also include a reading by South Carolina Poet, Laureate Marjory Wentworth.

February 25: City Council District I and IV seats and the At-Large seat on February 25, 2010 from 6:30 - 8:00, Eau Claire Print Building, 3907 Ensor Avenue.
February 27: 21st Annual Black Heritage Banquet at the Carolina Skies Club. All proceeds benefit the BHC Scholarship Fund.
The evening begins at 6 pm with Social Hour and the opening of The “Living Wax Museum”. Tickets are $20 in advance and are available now through Feb 10th. No tickets will be sold the day of the event.
