OnPoint! Team Members

OnPoint! has a dynamic team of communications professionals who work together to produce a quality show each week. 

Teowonna Clifton is the lead producer of OnPoint! She works along side Cynthia Hardy to bring you informative, engaging shows each week. When not brainstorming with Cynthia and other producers about the week's hottest topics, you can catch Teowonna attending plays, perusing art museums, rocking out at concerts, swinging the golf club or maybe even jogging along the riverfront! But you probably won't catch her in the mall because the one thing she hates more than doing dishes is shopping at the mall! If you can't catch up with Teowonna in the city, you can always find out what's on her mind by reading her blog, ThatTeowonna.

Laura Elam is OnPoint!'s  special assistant and associate producer. In that capacity Laura is often the ‘official interface’ with upcoming guests, sponsors and others associated of the show. In addition, Laura is the editor of the weekly OnPoint! Newsletter that is received by thousands each week. Laura is a native from Colombia, South America with a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish. Laura is an experienced researcher, writer and public relations professional. 

Darrell Payne is OnPoint!'s technical producer. He runs the boards during the show, and maintains and executes commercial logs, provides technical assistance to Cynthia as she cuts the weekly promo to tell listeners know which 'juicy' topic is being planned for the next episode, In addition to his OnPoint! involvement, Darrell is local producer of the Michael Baisden syndicated show and an on air personality at sister station WHXT 103.9.

Lisa Mitchell has worked with OnPoint! in a host of capacities since the show debuted in January 2003. Even before the show went on the air, Lisa worked behind the scenes to help give the show its on-air 'feel'. From choosing the music beds for bumpers to get the show in and out of breaks, to using her exceptional production skills to give the show its ‘big city feel’, Lisa’s involvement has been immeasurable. Lisa is the mid-day air personality of WWDM 101.3 where her show is consistently ranked #1.

Jim Hardy prefers to work behind the scenes to support the show. But that support is irreplaceable. Jim generously provides office space and state of the arts administrative facilities at his uptown advertising agency, Maxim Communications Group. In addition to using his graphic skills to help create the OnPoint! brand, Jim designs the show’s billboards, ads, and other materials that create the external image for the show. Jim Hardy is an award winning graphic designer who has owned and operated his own advertising agency for 10 years. The agency employs 6 full time people and a host of part timers.

Ron Phillips is OnPoint!’s sales executive at WWDM. In addition to keeping the show’s commercial logs each week, Ron is the professional liaison between the show and its host station, WWDM.
